When you enter our school, you will notice that students wear different colored belts. Traditional martial arts use a colored belt system to show accomplishment and mastery of skills. There are 10 color belts prior to achieving Black Belt. The beginner belts are: White, Orange, and Yellow. The intermediate belts are: Camo, Green, and Purple. The advanced belts are: Blue, Brown, Red, Red/Black (also referred to Black Belt Recommended or Apprentice Black Belt). Black Belts go from 1st to 9th degree. All Lakeshore Black Belt Academy Taekwondo testings are nationally certified by the American Taekwondo Association (ATA). This means if you were to attend any ATA school across the nation, your rank and training will be honored throughout your travels; a great advantage for you!
